Tehran, June 24 - Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Wednesday that British secretaries have been expelled from their embassy in Tehran.
Talking to reporters following a cabinet meeting this morning, Mottaki added that names of the expelled British diplomats will be announced by Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi, later.
He reiterated that any further decision on expulsion of foreign ambassadors from Tehran will be announced to the public.
British diplomats and media outlets in recent days, especially before and after the Iranian Presidential election have played a destructive role of trying to inflame public anger and help breakup of national unity in the name of democracy.
A British reporter working for BBC was also expelled two days ago for his negative interference and biased reporting on recent events in Iran.
