COULD THE NEW IAEA CHIEF PAY A VISIT TO ISRAELI N. SITES ?

Tokyo, July 4 - Head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission expressed hope that IAEA new chief would dare to visit Israeli nuclear installations.

In a meeting with members of International Council for Japan Friendly exchanges, Alaeddin Boroujerdi congratulated victory of Yukiya Amano, Japan's representative in IAEA, to be elected as the new director general, to Japanese nation and said that Iran does not expect Japan to accept hundreds of nuclear bombs in the world and be silent against new generation of atomic bombs.

Boroujerdi added that Japan is the only nation being attacked by nuclear bomb, so they must be against it more than anybody else in the world. He added Iran was hurt by chemical weapons.

The Iranian MP expressed hope that by the new chief of the IAEA, Japan could play a more effective role in nuclear disarmament in the world.
