Tehran, August 22, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran's Foreign Minister, Manuchehr Motaki strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Iraq, which claimed the lives of many innocent civilians. The FM made the remarks in a telephone conversation with Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zibari, this morning.

Motaki also expressed support and sympathy for all the families of the victims of the vicious attacks and said that Iraq's enemies will never achieve their evil objectives through such acts.

In response, Hoshyar Zibari appreciated his Iranian counterparts sympathy and called for an emergency meeting of Iraq's neighboring states in the near future.

In recent days, Iraq witnessed several massive terrorist attacks claiming over hundreds of lives and injuries. The city of Baghdad has been the main target of such terrorist attacks in the past few days.
