Israel Plans to Change the Identity of Al-Quds

The Plot to Change the Identity of al-Quds Has Been Approved by Washington.

Tehran, March 26, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki issued a strong warning over Israel’s plots for changing the identity of the historical city of Jerusalem or al-Quds in the occupied Palestine.

‘Unfortunately, the recent developments and comments made over the past few months by the officials of the Zionist regime clearly show the seriousness of the occupiers' plot to give a Zionist identity to the first kiblah of Muslims.’ Iran’s FARS news agency quoted Mottaki as saying on Thursday.

The Iranian FM said the whole world is paying close attention to the events in Palestine where there is a growing need to take more serious measures and maxime cooperation among all Muslims. According to Mottaki, the Israeli regime is set upon changing the historic identity of Jerusalem by the destruction of Islamic and Christian structures and building new synagogues instead. The plan has apparently been approved Washington.

Mottaki warned of severe consequences for the whole world and particularly the Muslim world if the Israeli plots continue without opposition. He urged Muslim countries to take a united stance toward Israeli aggressions and the latest developments in al-Quds.
