The one and only nuclear criminal of the world now falsely claims to be fighting the spread of nuclear weapons.

Tehran, April 17, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamanei in a letter read today at the opening ceremony of Tehran Nuclear Summit titled, ‘Nuclear Energy for all, Nuclear weapons for none’ said the main nuclear criminal (U.S.) is falsely claiming to be the one working on nuclear disarmament while in reality does the opposite.

 The letter read by Ali Akbar Velayaty, a senior aid to the Supreme Leader criticized the Western double standards with regards to international norms on nuclear issues. ‘The one and only nuclear criminal of the world now falsely claims to be fighting the spread of nuclear weapons but has definitely not taken and will not take any serious action regarding the issue,’ the letter read.

Iran’s supreme leader condemned the atrocities committed by the United States on the people of Japan at Nagasaki and Hiroshima in the course of the Second World War.

’There is only one government that has committed nuclear crime and that is the government of the US, which launched nuclear attacks against the innocent Japanese people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in an inhumane asymmetrical war,’ Ayatollah Khamenei said as reported by Iran’s Press TV.  

‘It behoves this international conference on disarmament to review and examine the perils resulting from production and stockpiling of nuclear weapons in the world and to present sensible and practical ways and solutions to counter this threat against humanity so serious steps could be taken toward protecting world peace and security,’ read the letter.
