Britain would continue its usual tough line against Iran: The incoming British Foreign Secretary promised. May 13, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - The newly appointed British foreign secretary William Hague gave his pledge of allegiance to global Zionism and his unchanging views about the dangers posed by Iran toward other countries prior to taking office. In an interview with local British news papers, the incoming foreign secretary said he is going to make sure Britain would continue its usual tough line against Iran. He called Iran’s civilian nuclear program as the most urgent thing for him to tackle. Hague is also going to ascertain that Israeli officials will no longer be charged against war crimes or prosecuted according to British laws. Once an empire on its own, the British government now just follows in the footsteps of the United States on the other side of the Atlantic. The new British foreign secretary repeated former Gordon Brown’s hawkish position on Iran by saying that it would be a mistake to remove the option of a military action against Tehran from the table. |
