When they decide to attack Iran, one war after the other will be unleashed: Cuba's Revolutionary Leader Fidel Castro.

July 13, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Cuba’s legendry leader of the revolution, Fidel Castro, appeared on a national television program Mesa Redonda (Round Table) last night. He warned of a global catastrophe to engulf the entire planet if the US and its smaller ally Israel ventured upon launching what they’ve so often done in the past in other places, namely an aerial strike against Iran.

Fidel Castro, whose own Latin American nation enjoys one of world’s highest standards of human developments despite years of direct antagonism from her next-door neighbor, the United States, drew people’s attention to the next phase of US-Israeli aggression against the whole world.

‘The Iranians have been preparing themselves for 30 years, and have acquired all the Russian and Chinese airplanes and weapons necessary for their defense. They are training all persons between the ages of 12 and 60; just the Guardians of the Revolution have a million members; the army and the navy have air, sea and land forces; there are 20 million Shiite Muslims,’ said Fidel.

The Cuban Revolutionary leader, highly revered by a vast majority of people worldwide, spends most of his time writing and analyzing current global issues after his retirement three years ago.

He said a chain of events would lead to a third world war involving nuclear weapons if US and Israel attacked Iran while blaming the United States for the sinking of a South Korean military vessel Cheonan on March 26, 2010.

According to latest information the US was the one that placed an underwater mine hitting the vessel during a joint exercise in the Yellow Sea, said Castro. Washington needed an excuse in the form of a regional tension involving North-South Koreas and Japan to justify its presence in the region. A vast majority of Japanese people has been calling on the government to remove US bases in the area because of increasing crime, violence and corruption exercised by US army personnel in the area.

North Korea has denied any role in the Cheonan incident rightfully claiming that its powerful military need not busy itself with such minor events particularly in an action that involved harming the Korean people unification.

Fidel Castro said North Korea would not stand still if US and Israel unleash a war in the Middle East. ‘In the face of a massive attack against Iran, North Korea will not wait to be attacked, but will act, and a nuclear war will also break out in that zone,’ Castro said. 'When they decide to attack Iran, one war after the other will be unleashed,’ he added.
