Tehran, July 14, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - The Iranian nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri who apparently was kidnapped by CIA agents in Saudi Arabia while attending a Hajj pilgrimage last year is due to return back to Iran where he could freely speak about his ordeal during his stay in the United States. Shahram Amiri already explained that his kidnappers had told him to quietly accompany them inside a waiting van while a man sitting in the back seat pointed a gun at his head. ‘There were three people in the van - a driver, another person in a formal suit and beard, and a third person in the back. When I opened the door to get in and sit down, the person at the back put a gun to my side and said 'please be quite, don't make any noise,' Al-Jazeera quoted Amiri as saying. Yesterday, Amiri surfaced at Iran’s interest section at the Pakistani embassy in Washington where arrangements are being made for his speedy return to Iran. Contrary to all the facts including Shahram Amiri’s own version of events, United States government officials pretend the Iranian scientist had entered the United States on his own free will, perhaps under a one-year US tourist or student visa! ‘He is free to go, he was free to go wherever he wants.’ Said US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Following his dramatic escape from an iron curtain set up by US forces around him, Amiri spoke briefly to Iran’s Press TV. ‘My abduction is a detailed story. I have thoroughly explained key factors about how I was abducted in the video broadcast on Iran television," Amiri said in an interview with Press TV, last night. ‘In fact, in the video I managed to broadcast after escaping from hands of US intelligence, with the help of my friends, I stressed that the video broadcast on Iranian TV is completely accurate and that is not falsified. I think I will be unable to get into details during this limited period of time and I will postpone it to when I am hopefully in my dear country Iran, so I can speak to the media and my own people with ease of mind and tell them about my ordeal over the past 14 months, incidents that have been a mystery to many,’ he added.
