China and Iran Cement Bilateral Cooperation | |||

China Would Like to cooperate with Iran to cement political trust, maintain communication and coordination on international issues: China's Vice President Li Keqiang. August 06, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian and Chinese officials pledged to expand mutual cooperation projects that benefit both parties. This morning in Beijing, Chinese Vice President Li Keqiang held a meeting with Iran’s Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi that aimed at further expansion of cooperation between the two historic neighbors. China’s Vice President Li expressed satisfaction over growing bilateral ties and hoped for better trade, economic and people-to-people ties between China and Iran. China as a fast emerging global superpower recognizes Iran’s right of access to a peaceful domestic nuclear program. The Chinese Vice President said China would like to work with Iran to cement political trust, maintain communication and coordination on international and regional issues with the aim of safeguarding global peace, stability and prosperity. Iran's Oil Minister also expressed interest to expand relations between the two countries. Iran is China’s third biggest oil supplier and Chinese companies are currently involved in several long-term mega projects inside Iran.
