Venezuela Ready to Supply Iran's needed Gasoline

We are ready at any time Iran announces its needs, we will provide it with its needed gasoline: Oil-Giant Latin American Nation's Ambassador to Iran.

Tehran, August 16, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Oil-giant Venezuela says ready to export gasoline to Iran as soon as a need arise. Venezuelan Ambassador to Tehran David Velazquez today reiterated his nation’s support and preparedness to supply up to 20,000 barrels of gasoline to Iran when required.

‘We are ready at any time Iran announces its needs, we will provide it with its needed gasoline,’ Iran’s Fars news Agency quoted Velasquez as saying on Monday.

The US and its ever-growing smaller circle of allies in their futile attempts have tried to impose a self-inflicted economic sanction against Iran for the past several decades. Nearly every progressive nation in the world today, expresses support for cooperation with Iran and its peaceful domestic nuclear program. Yet, totally segregated US and Israeli duo simply follow their own course of action in isolation against the will of the international community.

Venezuelan official's announcement backs Turkey, Russia, China, Brazil and many other countries’ interests to expand trades with Iran. Last week Turkey began its export of gasoline followed by Russia’s giant energy company Lukoil in cooperation with China’s state-run firm Zhuhai Zhenrong shipment of a quarter- million barrels of gasoline to Iran.

According to Velasquez, President Hugo Chavez during his last visit to Iran in 2009 announced preparedness to supply 20,000 barrels of gasoline per day. ‘There were some threats about imposing oil and gasoline sanctions against Iran at that time too, but this issue (of exporting gasoline to Iran) is not related to the laws approved by certain countries, like the US, against Iran.’ The Ambassador said.

Iran currently has several new gasoline refinery projects under construction and once they start operations, the country would become a net exporter of this commodity to international markets.
