September 06, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Venezuela’s popular President Hugo Chavez praised the outstanding contribution of Cuban medical doctors in his country. ‘They are heroes and heroines who are here with us giving their all for the Venezuelan people's life and health,’ said Chavez as reported by the Latin American news agency la Presna Latina.

Chavez also said that such great contribution would not happen if opposition wins the next National Assembly. The mass movement in Venezuela represented by the current Chavez administration faces a well entrenched Zionist-US supported neocon opposition that seeks to further revitalize US influence in the oil-rich Latin American nation, home to one of the greatest heroes of Latin America, Simon Bolivar. In the past the US had great sway in Latin America as it got used to plundering the wealth of this historic region in return for guaranteed support of puppet governments including Batista and Somoza regimes in Cuba and Nicaragua.  

With the coming of progressive governments in Ecuador, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Venezuela and other Latin American nations, much of Zionist led US meddlings have permanently vanished from the face of this region.  

Cuba has had a long history of providing high quality medical supports to the rest of Latin America and other countries. It was the first nation to provide massive medical support for quake stricken Island of Haiti last year. Cuba enjoys one of the best medical services in the world today despite years of embargoes and invasions by its big-polluting neighbor to the north the United States. The country provides absolutely affordable medical services to all its citizens throughout the Island.  

On the contrary, the so-called world’s biggest economy i.e. the United States suffers from an incredibly inefficient almost cartoon like medical system, which by now has become a laughing stock of the global population as Washington seems - in its own little world - hell bent on exporting such a flawed system into other countries behind the façade of Western democratic values. 

For average Americans, the corporate mafia medical services in the United States are extremely expensive - even for routine checkups. An average American family pays over $500 per month for a very basic medical insurance that does not cover most of illnesses and prescription drugs. Overall cost of insurance could reach thousands of dollars per month for a normal medical coverage in the United States.
