In view of the recent conditions in the wake of the sanctions and the mischievousness of some sellers in increasing gasoline price, the increased production of this product began at the (refining) units 20 days ago.

Tehran, September 07, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi today announced Iran has reached self-sufficiency in gasoline production from 44 million to over 66 million liters.

A significant 22 million litters increase in gasoline production followed construction of new plants as well as improving efficiency of existing plants around the country. Today Iran is well poised to become a net exporter of this strategic item in the near future.

Iranian Oil minister said that the country no longer requires importing any gasoline from overseas producers, Mehr News Agency reported. "In view of the recent conditions in the wake of the sanctions and the mischievousness of some sellers in increasing gasoline price, the increased production of this product began at the (refining) units 20 days ago," he said. According to the oil Minister the current level of production was reached during the past several week.

Earlier the United States and its dwindling number of allies had been counting on placing a totally paralyzing embargo especially by cutting Iran's much needed gasoline imports. They heralded it as a winning card in the hands of the west against Tehran and calculated that a shortage of gasoline would lead to a huge economic turmoil inside Iran in the wake of UNSC resolution.   

But, today’s announcement clearly shows that western powers had miscalculated Iran’s domestic capabilities to boost its gasoline production within a relatively short period. Also, aother major gasoline producer - Venezuela said it would supply any shortage of gasoline to Iran if western countries try to stop gasoline exports to the Middle Eastern nation. Private Turkish, Russian and Chinese companies also continued exports of gasoline despite western pressures.  

Latest indicators point to stable economic conditions since the sanction resolution was enacted against Iran. On the other hand economic conditions for the United States have deteriorated within the same period. Home foreclosures, mass unemployment, 16th century Spanish Style inquisition of citizens and more grave stories have become new norms in the US these days.

Leading economist now warn of an imminent depression even more terrible than the great depression of 1929, that's just around the corner to batter the US and Europe by the end of this year or beginning next year with absolute certainty. 

Iran's domestic gasoline production reached 66 million liters within the past few months.
