Erdogan: US Supporter of Terrorism

The nine Turkish martyrs were shot by 21 bullets fired by Israeli soldiers. We sent the autopsy reports and pictures to the US and the EU, but the US was not ready to condemn the state terrorism: Erdogan.

October 16, 2010 (Hamsayeh.net) - Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his official visit to Pakistan once again called on Israel to formally apologize and pay compensation for flotilla massacre in which Israeli commandos killed nine Turkish activists. 

On Saturday Erdogan this time criticized the United States for its support of terrorism, Turkey's Milliyet newspaper reported. He blamed the US failure to condemn Gaza-bound aid flotilla killings despite clear and unbiased reports by international fact-finding Missions. Erdogan condemned the US double standard policies and the way Washington supported Israeli terrorism.

’The nine Turkish martyrs were shot by 21 bullets fired by Israeli soldiers. We sent the autopsy reports and pictures to the US and the EU, but the US was not ready to condemn the state terrorism,’ the Turkish Prime Minister said, while adding, ‘This demonstrated the US support for an international terrorist that had killed our nationals in international waters.’ 

The Turkish Prime Minister, who enjoys vast popularity in the Muslim World and the global community as well, reminded that both Turkey and Pakistan have suffered in the hands of US constant meddling and support for military dictatorships in their respective countries.

Turkey an important NATO member has repeatedly called on Washington to respect a UN fact-finding mission's report completed last month in which it blamed Israel for excessive use of force against unarmed civilians of other nationalities in international waters. This unprecedented pirate-like action by Israeli troops against international peace activists has caused widespread angers across the civilized world particularly amongst Turkish people.
