The Video Showed The CIA Informant Urging Militants to Continue Attacks on  US Targets Around the World

 

Jan. 10, 10 (Hamsayeh.Net) - A Pakistani TV station aired video footage of CIA informant who last week detonated himself at a US military base in Afghanistan. The bomber originally from Jordan identified as Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal Balawi urged militants to carry out attacks on targets inside and outside of US in retaliation for the killing of a leading Taliban figure by a US missile strike.

 

The CIA bomber said, ‘The Jordanian and the American intelligence services offered me millions of dollars to work with them and to spy on the Mujahedin, but I came to the Mujahedin and told them everything and we arranged together this attack.’ He also said he shared all his information and secrets with fellow militants.

 

Balawi who worked as an informant for the CIA, entered Chapman base in Khost province eastern Afghanistan without body search on Dec. 30th. After entering the premises he detonated the bomb on his person in close range to several CIA agents killing himself and 9 others instantly. A Few of those killed were considered CIA’s leading anti-terrorism spies with extensive work background in Afghanistan and Pakistan. 

 

Talat Masood a Pakistani intelligence analyst told reporters the video was a strong piece of propaganda used by the Taliban. ‘This shows that they compromised U.S. intelligence and, you must concede, did a great job, furthermore the fact that they had a video shows their level of sophistication about public relations in not only pulling off the event but publicizing it.'

 

According to Masood this video shows the level of Taliban’s sophistication in propaganda war. ‘It shows the U.S. is facing a very cunning and dangerous foe, these are supposed to be the most backward people in the world, but look what globalization and the spread of technology has done.’ The Pakistani intelligence analyst opined.
