Our policy is a policy of interaction

Tehran, Jan. 22, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Director, Ali Akbar Salehi, told ISNA on Thursday the hardliners’ camp supported by international Zionism, is gradually losing its grip on power in the West.

 

‘One of these camps is acting with a little more wisdom and has understood that they should pursue an interactive policy toward Iran, and the other camp is influenced by international Zionism and (they) are trying to implement a confrontational policy and to make problems for everyone,’ Salehi said.

 

He made an assessment that overtime the more rational group of policy makers in Washington would prevail over the irrational hardliners, which could help resolve the Iranian nuclear issue in an amicable way. ‘Our policy is a policy of interaction,’ he stated.

 

Salehi said Tehran initially had asked other countries to provide the fuel for the medical reactor as a gesture of goodwill and a ground for more cooperation in this field in the future; however, Iran has the capability to produce the fuel by itself in a relatively short period. In his other remarks Salehi said over the past few months, Iranian technicians were able to manufacture a CAT scanner and a body scanner used mainly for medical purposes.

 

In recent years, the United States and certain other European states have been experiencing enormous political pressures by the international Zionism to devise policies detrimental to their own democratic values. The waging of wars on Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and elsewhere plus a step-by-step implementation of neoliberal financial transactions that led to the ongoing global recession and finally the bringing up of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program and posing it as a major threat to all countries of the world, have been the works of international Zionism which has tremendous influences in Washington, London, Paris and Berlin, amongst others.
