Iran Khodro’s Peugeot is Best known as one of Iran’s most popular compact Automobiles.

 

February 06, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran’s leading automobile manufacturer, Iran Khodro (IKCO), announced unveiling of its latest Peugeot 207i model on the occasion of the 31^st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, in coming days.

 

Iran Khodro, the country’s top international automaker takes a large share of the Iranian auto market and has robust overseas exports. IKCO’s fuel efficient Peugeot model is best known as one of Iran’s most popular compact automobile brands that enjoy outstanding reliability based on latest consumer surveys.

 

According to IKCO’s deputy CEO Mir Javad Soleimani, the new Peugeot 207i will be manufactured in both hatchback and sedan models. The company envisions a production line of 200 units a day or more depending on consumer demands. 

 

'Peugeot 207i would be produced in two series of manual and automatic, and if the production of this model turns out to be economically competitive, France’s Peugeot company would order a portion of its global sales from Iran,' Sloeimani said.
