Is the meaning of campaign against terrorism supporting and
promoting the paid criminals?
Tehran, March 01, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) -
As the
United States and allies try to keep a silent posture over
relations with groups such as Jundullah, Iranian officials
at the daylong International Human Rights Conference held by
the UN in Geneva, blasted Western powers’ tainted records
regarding the human rights and their usual
double standard practices on this issue.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman who also accompanied the
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in Geneva, told IRNA the
main focus was to show Iran’s stands on human rights and the
West’s usual double standards about this matter.
‘Mr. Mottaki asked in his address whether the United States
had been unaware of the fact that Rigi’s highly criminal
grouplet has thus far claimed the lived of over 400 human
beings?’ Mehmanparast said.
The Spokesman also said the Iranian Foreign Minister during
his speech demanded an explanation from the US over links
with the group led by Rigi, ‘The Americans must also reply to the
question, ‘What was the reason behind Mr. Rigi’s planned
attendance of that country’s military camp in Afghanistan in
which he was going to discuss with the US top military
official in Manas military camp at Kyrgyzstan’s capital
city, Bishkek?’
’Mr. Mottaki reiterated, ‘Is the meaning of campaign against
terrorism supporting and promoting the paid criminals?’ the
Spokesman said.
Elsewhere during his remarks Mottaki, asked, ‘How can
the Europeans, particularly the British, the Germans, the
French, the Irish, and the Austrians justify delivering
their country’s official diplomatic passports to Mossad
officials using which they managed to assassinate the Hamas
leader, Mr. al-Mabouh, in Dubai?’
The Iranian Foreign Minister added that how come the West
keeps quiet regarding the crimes committed by the Zionist
regime and why they don’t condemn these inhuman acts through
the Goldstone report?
According to Mehmanparast, the conference received the
highest level of attendance at the time the Iranian Foreign
Minister was delivering his speech.
