Ahmadinejad Underlines Deficiencies of the Current World Order

Today, it has been revealed to all that the (present) order which has derived from the materialistic school of thought is at the end of the road and is facing failure both in practice and theory.

November 09, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - During a meeting of Asia Cooperation Dialogue held in Tehran, the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad slammed the current world economic and political system.

He said the world order has become overly deficient to resolve important issues facing humanity and one can confidently say that it has reached its end.

Ahmadinejad called for a more balanced world order in which people and countries around the world would have greater powerto participate and help resolve outstanding issues.  "Today, it has been revealed to all that the (present) order which has derived from the materialistic school of thought is at the end of the road and is facing failure both in practice and theory," President Ahmadinejad addressed the audience at the 9th ministerial meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), as reported by Iran’s Fars News Agency.

The Iranian President cited that biggest problem is the way opportunistic -materialistic school of thought has taken control of a political and economical establishment designed to serve own interests.  ‘The materialistic school of though is not able to manage political and economic relations based on justice and in such a way that they serve the interests of the nations, he said.

According to Ahmadinejad the best way to establish a just world order is to allow greater participation among men and establishment of a more responsible system.
