(Hamsayeh.Net) - Many people recognize Iran as a country that has vast quantities of oil and gas. Fewer however realize Iran is also a country possessing other types of resources, unique to its geographical location. 

Among other resources available, we can mention vast quantities of fruits and vegetables with highest quality around. Some of these fruits and vegetables are native to Iran. For example, orange; pistachio; almond; walnut; lemon; pomegranate; tangerine and lots of other kinds of fruits and vegetables are included in this category. 

Given the country’s vast potentials for fruits and vegetables productions, Tehran municipality, has come up with new plans to increase efficiency in packaging and distribution of these products for consumers. It has designed a new production outlet in the southern part of the city for packaging and distribution of fruit and vegetable products all over the metropolis of nearly 15 million inhabitants. 

Tehran municipality also working on setting up facilities for exports purposes. Some of Iran’s export destinations include UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and European countries.

FRUITS AND VEGETABLES ARE CONSIDERED AS HEALTH FOODS AND INCREASINGLY, PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD, INCLUDE FRESH PRODUCES IN THEIR DAILY DIET.
