BRAZIL BUILDING NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH IRAN  
 

Hamsayeh.Net - Visiting Brazilian FM considers Iran a new partner. Ceslo Luiz Nunes Amorin said, "Iran is considered as Brazil's new geographic partner in our countries policy."

Amorin who is on official visit to Iran, in a meeting with Chairman of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Resources, Mohammas Nahavandian and Iran's Ambassador to Brazil Mohsen Shaterzadeh, expressed new era in relations between the two countries.

The Brazilian FM noted, "President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva has defined a new geography in an effort to diversify Brazil's economic and trade ties," With respect to the concept of new geography expressed by Amorin, he added that it, "stresses expansion of economic exchanges and interactions with different countries, including Iran".

According to Amorin, the most important element helping deepening of relations is "trust".

In the course of the meeting, Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Resources' Chairman, said the first objective for mutual investments and other economic activities would be the establishment of relations between the two countries' banking systems.

Nahavandian considered the promotion of bilateral ties through credit lines and banking facilities should bring the two countries' relations closer together into a new phase.
