Tehrarn - August 17, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran's second term President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appearing on television disclosed the names of six of his proposed list of ministers.
The new ministers are to be presented to the Majlis for approval. Among the new ministers there are two female nominees. Ahmadinejad reinstated Ali Akbar Mehrabian as Minister of Industry and Mines, Seyyed Shamseddin Hosseini as Minister of Economy, Mohamad Abbasi as Minister of Cooperatives.
The other three of his nominee are new faces with two women in the new cabinet. Hojatoleslam Heidar Moslehi for the Intelligence Ministry, Fatemeh Ajorlou for the Welfare and Social Security Ministry and Marzieh Vahi-Dastjerdi for the Health Ministry.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad already said that he intends to bring fresh-more energetic faces into his cabinet. There are also calls for a more effective form of government that would be responsive to the ongoing challenges including fixing the dire economic situation and the big mafias still holding on to their positions.
The President would have to present all his ministers by Wednesday this week to the parliament. According to Ahmadinejad the presented nominees posses the three main factors of eligibility, competence and teamwork spirit.
