Tehran, September 9, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran is ready to hold talks with the group of 5+1 countries about the Iranian nuclear program. He reiterated Iran's readiness to hold 'fair and square' talks with all world countries including the long time foe the US and the West, according to IRIB.
Ahmadinejad said, 'We expect change of approaches by others and given that Iranians will turn threats into opportunities, continuation of the current policies will not be beneficial.' Adding that, ' We are ready to hold talks and exchange views in a right direction to resolve global challenges.'
Furthermore, he once again ruled out any compromises on the issue of Iranian access to nuclear technology, saying, 'Iran will never negotiate on obvious rights of our people and from our point of view the file on our nuclear issue is closed.'
Ahmadinejad also added that Iran would continue its nuclear program within the framework of global regulations and in close cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency - IAEA.
