Tehran, September 11, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - In Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Anderei Nesterenko expressed his country's optimism on Iran's new package of proposals on Thursday.
Nesterenko was optimistic about resumption of talks between Iran and G5+1 countries' officials concerning outstanding nuclear issues. However he did not reveal the content of the new proposals until after the meeting.
He said that Russia is ready to cooperate with Iran over peaceful resolution of Iran's nuclear program and continue to work towards broadening its ties with Iran in all respects.
Similarly in China, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Jiang YU expressed positive response over Iran's new package of proposals and said that Beijing has received the new package and is now studying the proposals.
She said her country seeks a peaceful and long-term settlement for Iran's nuclear dispute with some of the Security Council members.
Both China and Russia are against imposing economic sanctions on Iran and called for continuation of negotiations with Iran.
