Tehran, September 18, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be in New York this week to deliver a much anticipated speech about the issues facing the world today.
Ahmadinejad would be one of the first heads of states to make a speech in the opening day of the summit of the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, September 23.
The summit will run for two days and 89 heads of states, 3 vice presidents, 36 heads of governments, 8 deputy prime ministers, 55 foreign ministers and 23 deputy ministers will participate in this year's event.
The UN general assembly summit will focus on issues relating to international peace and security, development, human rights, humanitarian aid, justice and international laws, disarmament, controlling illicit drugs, crime prevention and confronting terrorism.
