Tehran, September 19, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - In yet another sign of defiance - confronting the will of the international community, the US secretary of State Hillary Clinton issues a blunt warning to Iran before the start of nuclear talks on Oct. 1st.
She said, 'there are profound consequences if Iran is unable to convince the United States that their civilian nuclear program is intended exclusively for peaceful purposes.
Iran and the G5+1 group have agreed to hold talks early next month. Leading countries including Russia and China propose negotiations whereas some western countries would seek to increase economic pressures on Iran.
Clinton's warnings come despite the IAEA's repeated announcements that there was no proof Iran was doing anything besides its civilian nuclear program confirming the fact that Iran isn't diverting its low-enriched uranium to any military purpose.
Based on experts' findings and IAEA reports gathered during the past several years, Iran now considers its peaceful nuclear program file closed for further negotiations.
