Tehran, October 19, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran's Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) - General Mohamad Ali Jaafari blamed US and UK for the Sunday's suicide bombing attack in Sistan-Balouchestan province in south-eastern part of Iran.
The bombing killed over 31 people including 5 IRGC commanders, a number of local people and tribal leaders.
General Jaafari said the terrorist attack show to the world that Basij and IRGC forces were always ready to protect the country's interests and achievements under all circumstances.
He warned the extraterritorial powers to be aware that they will get nowhere by indulging and supporting such terrorist actions inside Iran as it will only strengthen the will of those who defend the country.
Jaafari said the terrorist group known as Jundollah, headed by Abdul Malik Rigi which claimed responsibility for the bombing, were in close contact with intelligence agencies of the US and UK.
