Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki has said that in the new round of nuclear negotiations, Iran's interests and considerations will be completely and precisely taken into account.
In an interview with IRIB correspondent in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, Mottaki referred to the topic of provision of Tehran research reactor fuel, noting: "This reactor needs 20% enriched uranium and to this end different options have been taken into consideration, and technical studies and talks have been held."
Referring to proposals of a number of Tehran reactor needed fuel's providers, Mottaki pointed out that one of the proposals was that in return for receipt of 20% enriched uranium, a part of 3.5% enriched uranium of Iran, which is not be needed, be delivered to providers.
Mottaki added this topic was comprehensively studied and it was decided that Iran's representative in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will respond based on Tehran's considerations and viewpoints.
Mottaki went on to say that: "A number of members participating in IAEA Technical Committee announced that for Islamic Republic of Iran's considerations and conditions to be taken into account it is necessary to hold a new round of technical talks."
Mottaki reiterated that Islamic Republic of Iran's considerations are all completely technical and economic, noting: "Under any circumstance, Islamic Republic of Iran's interests should be taken into consideration. These considerations will be presented in the new round of talks and the final decision will be made."
Iran's foreign minister added that the precise date for talks about provision of nuclear fuel will be specified based on the two parties' mutual agreement.
