Tehran, November 09, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Pakistani nuclear scientist known as the father of the country's nuclear program, Abdul Qadir Khan, in an interview with IRNA expressed his full support for Iran's right to develop indigenous nuclear program.
Khan said the West has embarked on a propaganda campaign against other developing countries' particularly Iran's nuclear progress all together.
Khan provided an example by saying that if a country like Iran develops or fires a missile it is considered wrong but when Israel does the same then it's right.
Elsewhere in his remarks Abdul Qadir Khan said that unfortunately most Muslim countries have already surrendered to Western powers and therefore unable to do much. Only Iran as Muslim nation has the power and wherewithal to stand against Western hegemony.
'We are responsible for our deeds, we have become slaves before western countries', he said.
Khan also believed sending Iran's low-enriched uranium out of the country would be a bad idea since as an independent country, Iran, should take decisions that suit its national interests.
'However, international scenario is that the West is against Iran and Muslims countries are so week that they cannot help Iran', he added.
Iran being the signatory of Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) can use nuclear energy for peaceful means. The US and west have been suspecting on Iran's nuclear program saying that Iran is trying to build an atomic bomb.
Western countries led by US corporatists have always stood against Iran's mastery of the peaceful nuclear technology. They have a tendency to keep a monopoly over technological matters for as long as it is possible for them to do so.
But for now, Western powers must come to grip with the fact that Iran has fully mastered its own nuclear program and there is no way for it to go backward.
