Tehran, Nov. 18, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran announced the latest IAEA findings on Fardo and the report about its nuclear program fully confirm Tehran’s transparency in regard to pursuit of its peaceful nuclear program.
“Mohamed ElBaradei’s new report proves that the IAEA’s findings are wholly consistent with Iran’s reports on (its) peaceful nuclear program.” Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said in a statement in New Delhi.
The spokesman also pointed at Western efforts to portray Iran’s nuclear program in negative lights by over politicizing the issue, which cause delays for the process of finding a solution.
Elsewhere, Iran’s permanent representative to IAEA Ali Asghar Soltanieh told khabar news network 'The reports on this [the Iranian nuclear] case are gradually turning into a tiring game and the IAEA should know that politicizing the issue would just harm its own credibility,'
The IAEA said Monday in its latest report that Iran's belated revelation about the Fordu site raised questions about whether there might be other still-secret facilities.
The report mentions that 'Iran's delay in submitting such information to the agency does not contribute to the building of confidence.'
