El Baradei's Latest Report

Confirms Transparency

 

Nov. 19, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran’s envoy to IAEA speaking with IRNA said that legal commitments and cooperation among countries must be defined and have proper limits.

 

Ali Asghar Soltanieh said, ‘Iran will not go beyond its commitments.’  Mr. Soltanieh was attending the IRI Board of Directors session over the last report by the outgoing IAEA Chief Mohamad ElBaradei.

 

The session mostly involved technical, questions and answers on the latest report before it convenes to make a final decision.

 

International inspectors from IAEA made a visit to Fardo site last month and completed a report. Their findings were in accordance with claims Iran’s already provided to the agency. 

 

Fardo nuclear enrichment site is located almost 30 km north of the holy city of Qum. It’s construction started a few years ago and it will take another year or so to be completed.

 

Fardo is designed as an auxiliary enrichment site should unexpected situations occur at the main enrichment centre in Natanz.
