Ahmadinejad: Enemies on Verge of Collapse
Tehran, Nov. 20, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, attending a group of martyrs’ relatives in the city of Tabriz in northwestern Iran, said that the enemies of Iran are on the verge of collapse.
‘Enemies of the (Islamic) Revolution and those thinking that they can step in our country through sanctions, war and conspiracy, are now on verge of collapse God willing,’ President Ahmadinejad said as reported by Fars News Agency.
He said enemies are now disappointed and if not they are unable to implement their evil plans against Iran, any more.
Western countries are pressing for further economic sanctions against Iran. They are hoping that those economic sanctions would force Tehran abandon its peaceful nuclear program. Many international analysts however believe Iran isn’t a country that would feel the pinch of sanctions no matter how severe they might be.
Some years ago, Western countries successfully implemented sanctions against the Saddam Hussein regime in Baghdad. Those economic sanctions known as ‘Food for Oil’ brought much misery on Iraqi people at the time.
Ahmadinejad said martyrs’ wishes are now coming true as those evil powers and tyrants starting on their path towards decline.
