Western Powers Seek to Deprive Iran of Nuclear Technology
Dec. 06, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran’s Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the occasion of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Ghadir, told the nation, to safeguard the revolutionary vigilance and awareness of the fact that Western powers seek to deprive people of Iran of their rights to nuclear technology.
The Supreme Leader criticized Western powers of using deceptive methods to fabricate lies against the country’s peaceful nuclear program and reiterated that progress in the field of nuclear technology has turned into a ‘national goal’ for all Iranians.
’For the past thirty years, they have been seeking to isolate this nation and this country through their conspiracies; however, they have failed [so far] and with God's grace will fail in the years to come,’ Ayatollah Khamenei told the audience.
’The Iranian nation makes every attempt to achieve nuclear know-how today, so that in 20 to 30 years time the children of Iran and the future generations do not have to beg the West for it,' Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Western propaganda machine has been busy making false allegations against Iran’s achievements and Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized, ‘However, Westerners through their media hype and false allegations seek to prevent us from realizing this national goal.’
The Leader called on all people to remain vigilant and do not heed to Western propaganda against Iran.
