Dec. 13, 09 (Hamsayeh.Net) - NAM group of countries voiced their full support for Iran’s peaceful nuclear program despite continued hostilities by some western countries.

 

The Egyptian ambassador to he UN who is heading the NAM, reiterated support for Iranian nuclear program by stressing that all NPT members should take advantage of their rights under the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

 

The Egyptian ambassador's support followed by the Syrian ambassador who underlined that NAM has always been against implementations of double standards against other countries. ‘It is regrettable that peaceful nuclear activities of Iran has concerned the Western countries but the real threat of the Zionist regime's nuclear weapons are ignored,’ Syrian ambassador to the UN read.

 

Another important member of the Non-Aligned Movement, Venezuela, also backed Iran’s nuclear program and advised certain imperialists to immediately abandon their double standard behavior and start to recognize rights of others.

 

And Iran’s permanent representative to the UN expressed Tehran’s willingness to continue the Geneva talks based on sound principals. Mohammad Khazaee said Iran would under no condition relinquish its nuclear rights while it observes the international regulations under the NPT.
