MILLIONS OF PRO-REFORMISTS RALLY ON TEHRAN STREETS

(Hamsayeh.Net) - Millions of pro-reformists candidates rally on Tehran streets. Demonstrators holding pictures of Mir Hussein Mousavi and chanting slogans asking the government to override the results of the latest election which went to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with a %65 margin.

The huge number of demonstrators was a clear indication that Mousavi enjoys massive support particularly among the younger generation of Iranians. Yesterday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's supporters held a victory celebration, however, the small number of people gathered for Ahmadinejad compare to today's pro-reformists rally of millions, brings into question the health of the election held last Friday.

Today, government officials, released details of the election province by province and city by city on the national television. Mousavi's supporters still doubt the results and Mousavi himself announced his campaign does not recognize the results. Mousavi, also attended the rally and made a speech among millions of his enthusiastic pro-reformers on Tehran's landmark Azadi square.
