Tehran, August 11, 2009 (Hamsayeh.Net) - A new political climate is emerging in Iran in which most leading political figures and MP's would want the next ministerial cabinet to be as efficient as possible, away from the customary trial and error mind-set that has been in place for the past few years.
In this regard, the Iranian Majlis Speaker Dr. Ali Larijani states that the ministry is not a school for training ministers. 'Ministry is not a place where someone learns how to work,' Larijani spoke to reporters last Monday as Ahmadinejad is expected to introduce his new cabinet within the next few days.
Larijani also said that it was important for everyone - the selected ministers hold good revolutionary records, efficiency, beliefs as well as ability to defend the county’s national interests. He suggested to the new president to consult the Majlis over the next ministerial posts.
Also on the sideline of a ceremony on the occasion of 'Reporters Day' in Tehran, Larjinai said that certain regimes using their agents in Iran, perused treasonable objectives to create chaos following the election.
He mentioned the US allocation of $35 million budget towards media propaganda against Iran and called for more vigilance amongst the media community against such mischievous plots.
