President Ahmadinejad made the remarks while addressing a gathering of local people in Mashhad, the capital city of the northeastern province of Khorassan Razavi.
Now that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is returning to its actual position which is to help independent nations and to create healthy relations with other nations, the Iranian nation welcomes cooperation on nuclear fuel and construction of power plants and reactors as well as technological cooperation, the Iranian President reiterated.
Providing Tehran’s reactor fuel would be an opportunity to test the honesty of certain countries as well as that of the IAEA, Ahmedinejad said. Ahmadinejad said Tehran expects the Group 5+1 to fulfill its previous commitments regarding the Islamic Republic.
"We are moving on the right track and we have absolutely no concerns about legal cooperation which observes all legitimate rights of the Iranian nation," he emphasized.
The Iranian president reiterated that the world is on the verge of reform in which Iran plays a unique leading role. He added that the Iranian nation will accept any hand extended to it in honesty, without any conspiracy or lie. Otherwise, the Islamic Republic's response would be the same as it gave to the former U.S. president George W Bush and his allies, the president added.
The enemies have confronted the Iranian nation through sanctions, anti-Iran’s resolutions and military attack threats and received the result, he said, adding that they are now trying to change their approach towards the Iranian nation.
He reiterated that the world should know that as long as this government is in power, it will not retreat one iota on the undeniable rights of the nation.
