Norouz Sends the Message of Freedom  to All Nations Around the World.

 

Tehran, March 28, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iraq’s President Jalal Talibani, who is visiting Iran for Norouz (New Year) celebration said arrogant powers are fearful of Norouz since the occasion invites world countries to seek freedom and independence.

 

The Iraqi President is among head of states from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and top government officials from Turkey and Azerbaijan, who are attending the ancient New Year celebrations in Iran.

 

Talibani said that Norouz was a manifestation of freedom and an occasion to forge unity against extraterritorial powers. ‘We commemorate Norouz in a country which is the harbinger of friendship, equality and freedom among the nations,’ he said. 

 

The Iraqi President expressed hope that his country would soon be liberated thus paving the way for development in all areas.
