NATO Confessed to Cold-Blooded Killings of an Afghan Family

US Troops Tried to conceal the evidence by removing all the bullets from inside the victims' bodies.

April 05, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - A Nato official in Afghanistan finally admitted US special forces tried to cover up a cold blooded massacre of an Afghan family in eastern Afghanistan last February.

The nightly raid on a suspected Taliban militia stronghold was carried out by US special forces in Afghanistan that killed two pregnant woman, a teenage girl and police officer. The family had just finished a family party attended by relatives for naming the newborn babies.

Several US soldiers carrying combat rifles attacked the household after mid-night. They shot the victims but soon found out that they had made a mistake. US soldiers then began to remove all the bullets from inside the victims bodies in order to conceal evidence.

US troops later reported that the victims were killed hours before they arrived at the location. Following the incident, Nato and US military officials refused to take the blame until they were forced to start an investigation by local Afghans who knew about the incident.

Only last night Lieutenant-Colonel Todd Breasseale, a Nato spokesman confessed, ‘Despite earlier reports we have determined that the women were accidentally killed as a result of the joint force firing at the men.’

Afghan people now ask why did the Americans clean some of the bullets from the area and why they lied to McChrystal. Another Afghan official asked, ‘In what culture in the world do you invite ... people for a party and meanwhile kill three women? The dead bodies were just eight meters from where they were preparing the food. The Americans, told us the women were dead for 14 hours.’

Nato authorities promised a full investigation  within the next coming days.
