Tehran Nuclear Commences

  

Iran hosting representatives from 60 countries from around the world.

Tehran, April 17, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) – The two-day Tehran Nuclear Summit titled ‘Nuclear Energy for all, Nuclear weapons for none’ kick started this morning in the Iranian capital.

 The summit is hosting representatives from over 60 countries and it is taking place at the IRIB's conference centre.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki said the aim of this conference was to encourage the world community to seriously consider a nuclear-free world. Iraq’ Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari attending the conference reiterated Iraq’s support for Iran’s peaceful nuclear program during his opening ceremony speech.

Zebari said the world must get rid of all types of weapons of mass destruction due to their inherent inhumanity.
