Western Attempts to Stop Iran's National Nuclear Program Futile: Official

We will firmly stick to our policy toward the nuclear issue and will not retreat, even if a hundred more resolutions are issued: Larijani.

June 03, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian official reminded the Western bullies not to waste their time trying force Iran to back down on its already advanced nuclear program.

Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said Tehran will not back down an iota over its national nuclear program no matter how many illegal UNSC resolutions should pass again Iran.

We will firmly stick to our policy toward the nuclear issue and will not retreat, even if a hundred more resolutions are issued,’ Ali Larijani told MNA, adding, ‘We are monitoring your moves, and you (the global powers) cannot change your policy whenever you wish.’

The Speaker of Majlis urged the US President Barack Obama to show his honesty after the recent Israeli onslaught against international humanitarian flotilla on Monday. ‘If you seek to help Muslims, why did you side with Israel on this issue?’ he asked.

Larjani reassured the Muslim world alongside the international community would continue their activities and humanitarian assistance missions to Gaza Strip despite Monday’s atrocities. ‘The Zionist regime has no option besides lifting the blockade of the Gaza Strip,’ Larijani added.

Western insistence at stopping Iran's fully advanced national nuclear program is an exercise in futility.
