IDF report labeled these simple kitchen knives as weapons supposedly in short supply over in Gaza Strip.

June 03, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Taking the international community as an imbecile, Israeli propaganda machine tries to portray the 700 peace activists including noted public figures, a Nobel laureate and highly educated professionals in par with some terrorist groups having had a mission to carryout terrorist attacks against the Zionist regime and perhaps its backer the Obama administration.

Today, Israeli newspaper Jerusalem post published the latest discovery made by IDF investigators onboard a six-ship flotilla of humanitarian assistance to Gaza Strip. It showed around 20 kitchen knives found amongst 25 truckloads of medical supplies destined for Gaza Strip. The report called these simple kitchen knives as weapons supposedly in short supply all over the Gaza Strip.

Is IDF trying to say that Palestinians needed those knives for use against Israel and that peace activists were secretly smuggling them into Gaza? It should be noted that the largest ship in the flotilla Mavi Marmara carried around 400 passengers and the ship has a large restaurant to feed all the passengers. Those kitchen knives discovered by so-called IDF investigators could have been used in the ship’s restaurant.

IDF’s fictitious story also claimed of discovering night vision gurgles onboard the ships. It called those as dangerous weapons with potential to be used by terrorists against Israel.

Israeli officials argue a 25-truckload of cargo in the flotilla was just a quarter of what Israel sends for Gaza Strip daily. Therefore, it concludes the humanitarian assistance is not necessary because besieged Gaza residents have more than what they need!

Many independent international observers and UN inspectors have already reported Gaza Strip to be on verge of a major humanitarian crisis after nearly 2 years of total blockade, following Israeli massive bombardment and devastation in 2008.
