Obama Approves New Self-Inflicted Iran Sanctions Bill

Obama's approval of yet another Self-inflicted Iran-sanctions bill comes despite the North American country's own domestic troubles particularly with an imminent economic collapse looming in the horizon.

July 02, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - The latest round of Iran sanctions received a final approval from US President Barack Obama, in move that shows a growing frustration in Washington over Iran’s successes to undermine Zionist plots against the world.

In yet another move that will exert greater pains on oneself, the US President signed a bill proposing the toughest sanctions against Iran’s nuclear - energy sectors. ‘With these sanctions -- along with others -- we are striking at the heart of the Iranian government's ability to fund and develop its nuclear programs,’ said the US President. He promised to increase pressure in the future until Tehran agrees to stop a burgeoning domestic uranium enrichment activities.

Apparently, the bill prohibits US companies from working in the Iranian oil sector. Also the US government says it would penalize any other foreign companies that do business with Iran. Tehran has already dismissed US threats of sanctions saying such measures would not halt its progress in the nuclear field.

The US government has implemented similar sanctions on Iran before without much success. The Obama administration has proven to be incapable of resolving the North American country’s own domestic troubles particularly with an imminent economic collapse looming in the horizon.

Western corporate, political establishment led by the United States since the end of WWII, would have to confront near certain economic and social upheavals before the end of this year, warn many leading analysts. They believe, the US President like his predecessor is trying to divert attentions away from domestic issues by concocting fictitious external enemies exactly as George W. Bush when he blamed oil-rich Iraq more than a decade ago.
