Iran Will React Swiftly to Illegal Inspection of its Shipping

You should know whoever takes a decision against the Iranian nation, such as the so-called inspection of the Iranian ships or so-and-so toward its aircraft, will immediately receive Iran's reaction: Ahmadinejad.

Tehran, July 25, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran’s reaction to illegal inspection of its shipping and aviation will be swift and strong.

The US and some of its allies have been threatening to inspect Iranian shipping and commercial aviation saying they might be carrying illegal items related to the country’s nuclear program.

These threatening postures by the United States come despite the fact that Iran has already either manufactured all of its own domestic nuclear related technologies or has obtained enough technology to continue on with a peaceful nuclear program unhindered for long periods.

‘You should know whoever takes a decision against the Iranian nation, such as the so-called inspection of the Iranian ships or so-and-so toward its aircraft, will immediately receive Iran's reaction,’ Ahmadinejad said in a speech broadcast live on radio.

Iran yesterday announced beginning work on nuclear fusion research, which entails sufficient scientific capabilities on its part to embark on larger scale projects including construction of a clean fusion reactor.

The oil-rich Middle Eastern country sits upon huge reserves of oil and gas and also enjoys a strategic position over the Straight of Hormuz for monitoring a smooth and trouble-free transportation of oil tankers to and from the Persian Gulf region on daily basis.
