Turkey and Brazil to Attend Next Nuclear Talks

Tehran declaration will be the basis for Iran's [fuel swap] negotiations with the Vienna Group [the United States, France, Russia and the IAEA: MP.

Tehran, August 23, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian MP says both Turkey and Brazil will attend the upcoming nuclear meeting between Iran and major powers that aims at a convenient fuel swap to supply Tehran reactor.

MP Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Head of the Majlis National security and Foreign Policy Commission said on Monday, the last agreement among Iran, Turkey and Brazil would be the base for start of the next round of talks.

Turkey and Brazil will be present at nuclear fuel swap talks between Iran and major world powers, a top Iranian lawmaker has said. ‘Tehran declaration will be the basis for Iran's [fuel swap] negotiations with the Vienna Group [the United States, France, Russia and the IAEA,’ he said.

Iran’s agreement with Turkey and Brazil was a convenient way to reassure supply of nuclear fuel for Tehran reactor until the US began to unjustifiably reject the balanced agreement thus delaying the process of nuclear fuel swap for several months. Washington, criticized Turkey and Brazil for their efforts to draw a balanced agreement that could have resolved the issue last May.

The Obama administration faced with strong criticism from other major powers has finally agreed to sit down for talks over Tehran nuclear fuel swap declaration.
