Tehran, August 24, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad down played prospects of a military attack by either Israel or the United States against Iran at any time in the future citing the enormous defense capabilities of Iran to fend off any aggressor. 

Ahmadinejad said both Israel and the US are aware of Iran’s defense capabilities, adding, ‘Iran is not concerned by a prospective military attack by any country, although it is always prepared to defend itself,’ as quoted by Qatari al-Sharq and Peninsula newspapers on Monday. 

The Iranian President said that the enemies understand that Iran is an invincible fortress and there exist little possibility of either the Zionists or their masters i.e. the Americans dare launch a military strike against Iran. According to Ahmadinejad Iran enjoys limitless defense capabilities which extends to all parts of the world. 

The United States - currently in a deep economic trouble – has had a broad plan to control Persian Gulf energy since the end of WWII with the help of its garrison in the Middle East called Israel. The controlling of energy particularly from the Middle East is considered detrimental to the value of US dollar as the main global trade currency, which automatically enables the US Federal Reserve to keep printing greenbacks literally out of thin air.  

Since the loss of manufacturing to emerging economies of Asia, the United States’ economy now depends mainly on promoting the US dollar in global trades and overextensions of its military might around the globe.
