Iranian President Calls For Global Nuclear Disarmament

Iran under no circumstances would forego its rights to peaceful nuclear technology

Jan. 10, 10 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the opening ceremony of Iran’s largest aluminum manufacturing plant yesterday in southern province of Hormozgan on the shores of the Persian Gulf, warned Western bullies over making wrong moves against the people of Iran.

‘The enemies and ill-wishers attempt to slow the pace of the Iranian nation's development and progress and intend to place obstacles in the way of the (Iranian) nation's movement, but Iran will be an unrivalled power in the world within the next 5 to 10 years,’ FARS News Agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying.

Ahmadinejad, called for the US, the Zionist regime as well as all other nuclear armed countries' speedy nuclear disarmament in order to provide the necessary ground for a total global ban on nuclear weapons productions.  Iran as a well-established member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, has called for an all out removal of nuclear weapons from across the globe.

Despite Tehran’s outstanding cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, certain arrogant powers have embarked on a vicious media propaganda campaign against Iran and the world community in recent years.

Britain, France, US and certain of their closest wannabes have been working  round the clock to come up with fresh, fictional stories, on regular intervals  that are very similar to Saddam Hussein’s nuclear enrichment plants hidden inside some of his palaces, about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program too, but have so far achieved nil in terms of their designated goals.

Ahmadinejad reminded the western powers that Iran under no circumstances would forego its rights to peaceful nuclear energy. ‘The administration assures ... it will strongly defend Iran’s rights and will not back down one iota,’ and added ‘ the enemy imagines it can create obstacles for the Iranian people but they should know the Iranian nation will continue its way.’
