US - Israeli Agents Behind The Assassination: FM Spokesman

A Right-Wing Group Claimed responsibility for the Assassination of the Iranian scientist

Tehran, Jan. 12, 10 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Early this Morning in Tehran a booby-trapped motorcycle bomb explosion in the district of Qeytariyeh in northern Tehran killed a well-known Iranian nuclear scientist and university lecturer Masoud Ali Mohamadi.

The explosion happened close to the victim’s residence causing extensive damages to the surrounding buildings.  Based on latest reports a right wing group in association with former Pahlavi regime claimed responsibility for the bombing. However, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said the investigation so far shows traces of US and Israeli involvement in the assassination of the Iranian nuclear physics scientist.

‘Primary investigations into the assassination revealed signs of the involvement of the Zionist regime [Israel], the US and their allies in Iran,’ Ramin Mihman-Parast told reporters. The Spokesman condemned the assassination and said the Israeli and American agents’ actions run contrary to international rules and regulations.

‘Such terrorist moves and apparent omission of Iranian nuclear scientists will definitely cause no obstacle in the way of the country's scientific and technological development. Rather they will speed up it.’ Mihman-Parast said.
