November 14, 2010 (Hamsayeh.Net) - Iran's first nuclear power plant ready to start generating electricity by next month after a successful loading of 163 uranium fuel rods inside the core of the reactor.

An official of the country's Atomic Energy Organization told reporters that Bushehr would be ready to join the national grid no later than 40 days. Behzad Soltani, deputy head of AEIO said,' the Bushehr nuclear power plant will join the national power grid by the next 40 year.'

Bushehr already passed all necessary tests to begin operation. Several years ago, US and a number of its allies regarded this peaceful nuclear power plant as a sign of Iran's progress in the field of nuclear science and detrimental to West's interests in the region.

Bushehr's construction project underwent repeated delays ever since the beginning. In the 70's the German company Siemens renegade on its responsibility to complete the plant apparently. Later Russia, managed to prolong the construction of Bushehr and additional several more years. Eventually Bushehr was completed two months ago is now ready to generate electricity.
